Dr Tan Wei Sheng is an experienced Consultant Dermatologist with over 12 years of clinical experience. He has received advanced training in medical, lasers, procedural dermatology and sexual health from both Singapore and Australia, making him adept at treating skin, hair and nail conditions in patients of all ages – including children. This expertise has earned Dr Tan features in The Straits Times and interviews on 938Now. He understands the frustration faced by patients with complex skin conditions and endeavours to make each clinic visit light-hearted while addressing any questions or concerns that are raised. Dr Tan believes in providing holistic personalised care tailored to the individual needs of each patient – be it medical or cosmetic – to bring about the best outcome.
Dr Tan Wei Sheng is a dedicated and passionate dermatologist who has been practising since 2008. He graduated from the medical school of National University of Singapore in 2006 at the top of his class, and was placed on the Dean’s list consecutively for 5 years. He was awarded multiple scholarships during his medical school training in addition to receiving the Nihal Kaur Sidhu Medal.
Dr Tan completed his training in dermatology at the National Skin Centre and Singapore General Hospital in 2014, before heading to Australia on a Human Manpower Development Scholarship where he was attached to the Alfred Hospital/Melbourne Sexual Health Centre in 2015.
Upon returning to Singapore, Dr Tan was appointed as a consultant at the National Skin Centre, and was also appointed Deputy Head of the Department of STI Control/DSC Clinic. He was also a visiting consultant at the Khoo Teck Phuat and Tan Tock Seng hospitals. In recognition of his empathy and care for his patients, Dr Tan received the Silver Star Award for excellent patient service and multiple patient compliments during his time at the National Skin Centre.
To add, Dr Tan has published clinical research in major international peer-reviewed journals, contributed as a reviewer for these journals and written chapters in international dermatology textbooks. He has been invited to give talks in postgraduate medical courses and GP courses as well as presenting and speaking at local and international large dermatology conferences.
Dr Tan is a member of the Dermatological Society of Singapore and the Chapter of Dermatologists, College of Physicians, Singapore. He is also dedicated to giving back to the community; he has gone on overseas volunteer mission trips and contributed his time towards conducting Health Screenings (MINDS and Community health Screening).
With a passion for bedside teaching, Dr Tan was appointed as Clinical tutor for the Yong Loo Lin Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore and as a Clinical teacher at the Lee Kong Chien School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University.

Dr Ker specialises in eczema and other immune-related skin diseases. She provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of eczema, as well as other complex skin conditions such as psoriasis, rosacea, cutaneous lupus erythematosus, vitiligo and rare autoimmune skin disorders. With her years of experience and expertise, she is able to provide each patient with personalised and evidence-based care.
Patients can expect to receive the latest treatments in eczema such as topical steroids, calcineurin inhibitors, ultraviolet light therapies and biologic agents. Together with her team of dermatology nurses, they will work together with patients towards achieving the best possible outcomes. Dr Ker is also a strong advocate of eczema education, and regularly conducts talks in schools, patient support groups and health fairs to raise eczema awareness.
Dr Ker is a dermatologist with years of training and expertise in the fields of laser and skin surgery, paediatric dermatology, eczema, immune-related skin diseases and hair disorders. After graduating from National University of Singapore where she was placed on the Dean’s List, she received the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and completed her dermatology specialist training at the National Skin Centre, Singapore.
Subsequently, she furthered her education in the United States by completing a fellowship at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr Ker brings to her practice multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and dermatological book chapters.
Her professional engagements have included roles as the deputy head of Immunodermatology Unit and a core clinician in the divisions of Paediatric dermatology, Dermatologic and Laser Surgery units at National Skin Centre; visiting consultant to the department of dermatology in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Kandang Kerbau Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKWCH). Apart from receiving the NSC Service Champion award in 2017, she was also given the National Healthcare Group Teaching Award for Junior Clinicians in 2014.
Dr Ker is a registered member of Dermatological Society of Singapore and a course instructor in the Dermatological Society of Singapore Aesthetic Practice Competency Course. She also holds memberships in multiple prominent dermatologic societies in USA, namely Rheumatologic Dermatology Society, Society for Pediatric Dermatology and Medical Dermatology Society.
Dr Ker is also passionate about giving back to society. She volunteers regularly with health screenings at MINDS (Movement for Intellectually Disabled of Singapore) and Tzu Chi free clinics, has participated in numerous overseas humanitarian mission trips to Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia and Sri Lanka. For her compassion and dedication, she was awarded the Healthcare Humanity Award in 2017.
